Had a beautiful hike last weekend with my hiking pals Sarah & Brad.
We went slow due to our legs being sore from double spinning classes the day before at RealRyder Studio and because I had to get my photographs. The entire drive up the PCH was completely overcast and foggy with a little more and a mile of visibility over the ocean, but once we made it up and over the mountains in Malibu the sky was blue and the Sun was shining.
We passed through the fields of knee high grass and started our way up the steep winding trail to the summit. What a wonderful view! The marine layer over the ocean was held prisoner by the mountain ridges.
I got to pick up a little horned lizard. He was kind enough to stay still long enough to get a decent closeup.
A hike with a couple in love isn’t complete without a little photo session for their scrapbook.
